'Learning for Life'...starts with Reading
Research shows that 'pupils who read fiction almost every day scored ... more in their reading tests than those who never read such books – the equivalent of around 10 months’ additional schooling, according to the OECD.' (TES) Reading underpins everything that we do at Walton-le-Dale. The ability to read for pleasure and purpose is one of the greatest gifts and life skills that we can instil in our young people.
